To this end we have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people employed by ANI and its sub-contractors, to retain them in permanent positions and to develop an Indigenous Recruitment and Career Development Strategy to achieve this (ANI’s One Step Forward program).
